==Come funziona l'Evento Estivo?==
The Volcano is the first [[Guild_Battlegrounds|Guild Battleground]] map. It went live when Guild battlegrounds were first launched in November 2019 and the setting is an amazing fire and rock Volcano surrounded by water.
Appena arrivato, sarai accolto dal governatore locale di Forge Island, che ti darà accesso alla ruota della fortuna. Non solo, ma ti darà delle missioni per guadagnare dobloni, necessari per far girare la ruota!

Upon opening the event window, you will see the wheel, as well as the buttons to "spin" or "refresh & spin". Click "spin" to try your hand at the prizes currently on the wheel, or "refresh & spin" to clear the wheel for a new set of prizes! Don't worry, if you refresh the wheel, you still earn a prize after the new wheel is revealed. Remember that your neighborhood shares the wheel - when you refresh it, it's refreshed for everyone (an additional refresh will take place during a neighborhood merge). This also means when you grab a prize, it is gone for everyone! The most recent wins are displayed at the bottom of the window, so that you can keep an eye on who's winning which prize.

In order to spin the wheel, you first need to earn Doubloons which can be earned by completing Summer quests or finding them in regular incidents around, or in the outskirts of your city as well as a daily log-in bonus. You can also use Diamonds if you just can't resist waiting for the next spin! One spin costs one Doubloon, and results in one prize. Alternatively, you can "refresh and spin" to call up a whole new set of prizes for your neighborhood. No matter what you choose, you will always win a prize!

The Volcano map is like an actual volcano dynamic with at big variation in size and number of adjacent provinces.This variation creates the need for tactical thinking when fighting on the map.

The prizes displayed in the wheel are available for every player in your neighborhood to claim. The prizes are random but, don't worry, every wheel has something special that can be won.
===Rewards ===
You can obtain immediate, temporary and permanent rewards in the Battlegrounds. There's a chance to obtain Forge Points, units, attackers boosts, goods, diamonds and fragments for the Statue of Honor after each fight or negotiation. The magnitude of these rewards depends on your league! Your guild should gain temporary prestige points according to its current league, but keep in mind that you can also lose them likewise when dropping in the league. Lastly, we also have permanent rewards for you and your guild: Guilds can get guild power according to their placement within a battleground (the amount also scales according to the league), and simultaneously you can get fragments for the Statue of Honor Selection Kit.


Common rewards can be obtained up to four times (you will see how many are left of each prize by how many green bars are in the circle surrounding it). Once the bars are depleted, that prize can no longer be won, and to find it again, you may need to refresh the wheel. If, for example, you win one of a specific prize where four are available, it is removed from the wheel and only three of them will remain for your neighbors to win. This goes on until all the prizes in the wheel run out, at which point the wheel is automatically refreshed with a new set of prizes.
==Guild Rewards==
When a battleground ends, guilds may obtain various rewards which depend on placement:
* Prestige according to current league and placement;
* Guild Power according to placement within a battleground
* Fragments of the Statue of Honor and for those participating in the Platinum/Diamond Leagues also fragments of Road to victory


The most special prizes can be won by just one lucky spinner - these are surrounded by a golden circle! Among these special prizes are the event buildings from the previous events, including the Governor's Villa, and the Crow's Nest!

In order to snag yourself the grand prize, you must set sail on a fantastic voyage! But how do you navigate the perilous seas, you ask? After every spin of the wheel, you will receive a compass! Use this compass to make your way across the map. Using a compass will randomly move your ship 1-3 spots on the map. Once you reach the edge of the map, X marks the spot, and you will be presented with the grand prize reward! The map will then be reset and you will be able to start once more on an epic new voyage.<br><br>

The Waterfall Archipelago is the second [[Guild_Battlegrounds|Guild Battleground]] map. It went live in December 2021 and the setting is a really stunning Archipelago of small islands on top of a great waterfall instead of the fire and rock settings of the first battleground.

To spin the wheel you need Doubloons, which both the Governor, as well as the local pirate Jane will be happy to provide you with... in exchange for completing tasks, of course.
The size of the Map is basically the same as before but the Sectors are in hexagonal shape which increases the difficulty level since there are now up to six attack paths to some of them.

===Rewards ===

Each completed quest contributes to the counter at the bottom of the quest window, and you will unlock new prizes at 5, 20, 34, 45 & 55 quests!

This year's main prize is the "Pirate's Hideout", an upgradable 6x5 building with 9 levels! At level 1, it will have a base happiness, population, and coins boost.


From level 2, you will receive medals and supplies, and at level 3, a chance to also collect Goods! At level 4, there is a chance to receive one of the following - Medals, Supplies, Goods, or Forge Points!

Finally, from level 7 onwards, you will also receive an attacking bonus for your attacking armies. Each one of these boosts will increase in value, as you level-up!<br><br>
The Great Elephant is a 4x3 building, upgradeable up to 8 levels. As you upgrade it, you will receive different bonuses including: a coin production bonus, forge points, as well as goods to the Guild treasury and an increase in Guild Power! That is not all! There are also chain decorations that you can win during the Event, which you can add to the pirate's hideout. When chained to your Pirate's Hideout, they will provide a boost in happiness, as well as generous provision of goods, forge points, or an 8% defensive boost for your attacking armies (depending on what you decide). History

The Volcano is the first Guild Battleground map. It went live when Guild battlegrounds were first launched in November 2019 and the setting is an amazing fire and rock Volcano surrounded by water.

The Volcano map is like an actual volcano dynamic with at big variation in size and number of adjacent provinces.This variation creates the need for tactical thinking when fighting on the map.









Rewards

You can obtain immediate, temporary and permanent rewards in the Battlegrounds. There's a chance to obtain Forge Points, units, attackers boosts, goods, diamonds and fragments for the Statue of Honor after each fight or negotiation. The magnitude of these rewards depends on your league! Your guild should gain temporary prestige points according to its current league, but keep in mind that you can also lose them likewise when dropping in the league. Lastly, we also have permanent rewards for you and your guild: Guilds can get guild power according to their placement within a battleground (the amount also scales according to the league), and simultaneously you can get fragments for the Statue of Honor Selection Kit.

Guild Rewards

When a battleground ends, guilds may obtain various rewards which depend on placement:

  • Prestige according to current league and placement;
  • Guild Power according to placement within a battleground
  • Fragments of the Statue of Honor and for those participating in the Platinum/Diamond Leagues also fragments of Road to victory

History

The Waterfall Archipelago is the second Guild Battleground map. It went live in December 2021 and the setting is a really stunning Archipelago of small islands on top of a great waterfall instead of the fire and rock settings of the first battleground.

The size of the Map is basically the same as before but the Sectors are in hexagonal shape which increases the difficulty level since there are now up to six attack paths to some of them.









Rewards

The Great Elephant

The Great Elephant is a 4x3 building, upgradeable up to 8 levels. As you upgrade it, you will receive different bonuses including: a coin production bonus, forge points, as well as goods to the Guild treasury and an increase in Guild Power! Lastly, and most importantly, there is also an attacking bonus for your attacking armies!


On its eighth and final level, you will met with a choice. A choice which reflects the variety of roles the elephant has held throughout the ages. Will you choose to employ your Great Elephant in battle, trade, or support? With these three brancheable choices; the decision is very much in your hands!

Note: 50% of the time, the immediate reward will be one fragment for the The Great Elephant Selection kit.
